Rhinos without Walker for Wolfpack visit

Leeds Rhinos will be without full back Jack Walker for Thursday’s Betfred Super League clash with Toronto Wolfpack at Emerald Headingley, kick off 7.45pm.

The full back suffered a foot injury in last Friday’s win over Warrington Wolves and will have further scans to assess the full extent of the injury.

Walker is the only change to the squad from last week with Liam Sutcliffe coming back into the group. He has missed the last two games with a knee injury and could be in contention for Thursday depending on how he comes through the remaining training sessions this week.

Joe Greenwood, who joined the Rhinos last week on a two month loan from Wigan Warriors is included as well.

Callum McLelland, Tom Holroyd and Alex Sutcliffe, who all impressed last week on dual registration with Featherstone Rovers in their win at London Broncos are all available for selection this week against the Wolfpack.

Captain Stevie Ward has been stood down indefinitely so has not been included whilst Rhys Evans has begun his month long return to Bradford Bulls. Dom Crosby and Tom Briscoe continue their rehabilitation from long term injury whilst Kruise Leeming is beginning his programme having had surgery on his knee last week.
