Greenwood and Martin set to feature for Rhinos

Leeds Rhinos are set to be bolstered for this Friday’s Betfred Super League clash with Warrington Wolves at Emerald Headingley with both Joe Greenwood and Rhyse Martin named in Richard Agar’s 21 man squad.

Greenwood joined the Rhinos on Tuesday on a two month loan from Wigan Warriors and could make his debut at Emerald Headingley. Rhyse Martin has missed the last two games with an infection in his chest but has been given the all clear by the club’s medical team to return to action.

Greenwood will make his 100th Super League appearance on his Leeds debut having previously played with St Helens and Wigan. He will line up alongside his former Gold Coast Titans team mate Konrad Hurrell in the Leeds squad having played in the NRL in 2017.

Liam Sutcliffe is again sidelined by the knee injury that kept him out last week. Stevie Ward continues his return to play protocol having suffered concussion and will not be cleared to return by the medical experts until he is symptom free. Rhys Evans has gone back to Bradford Bulls for a month. Dom Crosby and Tom Briscoe continue their rehabilitation from long term injury whilst Kruise Leeming is beginning his programme having had surgery on his knee last week.
