Group Days Executive

We have an amazing opportunity for a new addition to our Match Day Experience team as a Group sales Executive on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, we are looking for someone with the following qualities;

  • Flexible and adaptable when approaching varying situations
  • Good organisational skills – ability to effectively prioritise and manage workloads
  • Telesales experience
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the Leeds District Schools structure
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other departments
  • Comfortable in working in a diverse and collaborative team environment

This role will lead and develop partnerships with stakeholders across primary and secondary schools as well as wider community groups, ensuring all partnerships are delivered and developed in line with Leeds Rhinos targets and club requirements.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Build and maintain relationships with current and new ambassadors within primary schools, high schools, colleges and universities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with wider Community Groups i.e. Scouts, Guides, Recreational Groups, Children’s Services etc.
  • Recruit new Ambassadors and achieve targets for ticket sales & camp bookings.
  • Work collaboratively with Leeds Rhinos Foundation Partner Schools Officers to ensure a consistent delivery of activities and benefits.
  • Obtain full knowledge of the products, services and events offered by the business to ensure you are offering best service to our Ambassadors.
  • Deliver match day activity for ambassador groups.
  • Link with partner schools and our marketing team to identify and create additional match day experiences.
  • Attend and support Ambassador events.

This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week and the salary is based on skills and previous experience. There is a performance related bonus if sales targets are achieved.

The role is based at Emerald Headingley Stadium, but you will be required to work off site due to the nature of the role.

You must have a clean driving licence and provide your own transport.

Gardener/Landscaper

Due to an exciting re-development of Emerald Headingley Stadium, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Gardener/Landscaper to work across a variety of areas within the ground.

The main aim of the role to help the grounds department maintain its soft and hard landscaped areas to an exceptionally high standard including the implementation of planting schemes, mowing regimes and general care for planting and shrubs across club sites.

You will need to be flexible and be able to work early mornings and at short notice. Some evening, weekend and match night work be required.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Tasks to include but not limited to hedge trimming, weeding, planting, watering and maintenance of the clubs off pitch areas, borders and planted areas
  • Responsible for the upkeep and implementation of planting schemes and projects relating to off pitch areas and horticultural specific works.
  • Maintenance of the club’s Memorial Garden including weeding, preparation of plots and planting
  • Quality control of all aspects of gardening including health and safety
  • To work alongside the Head Groundsman and Assistant Head Groundsmen.
  • Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of machinery, hand tools and areas

Essential requirements:

  • Horticulture qualifications to Level 3 or above.
  • To possess high levels of enthusiasm and a good knowledge of plants, shrubs, trees and planting schemes.
  • To have PA1 & PA6 qualifications in spraying.

Desirable requirements:

  • A full clean driving licence
  • Possession of a Chainsaw licence

Part-Time Cleaners

Due to an exciting re-development of Emerald Headingley Stadium, we are currently looking to recruit experienced part-time cleaners to work across a variety of areas within the ground including our fantastic new facilities in the North and South Stands.

You will need to be flexible and be able to work early mornings and at short notice. Some evening, weekend and match night work be required.

Reporting to the Cleaning Team Leader, your cleaning must be to the highest standards.

We have two positions of 30 hours per week available.

The roles are based at Emerald Headingley Stadium, but you may be required to work at our site at Kirkstall on occasions.
