Burrow names Reserves side to face Wakefield this Sunday

Rob Burrow has named his first Reserve team of the season as the new look Rhinos team takes to the field for the first time this Sunday at Wakefield Trinity, kick off 5.30pm.

The match at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium follows Wakefield’s Betfred Super League game with Catalans Dragons earlier in the afternoon. 

The youthful side is made up of players Burrow coached in the Under 19s squad last season whilst Featherstone Rovers centre Brandan French is included on the bench. 

In addition, to these players Tom Holroyd, Luke Briscoe and Callum McLelland have all been named in both the Rhinos and Featherstone’s 21 man squads for their games on Sunday. If the trio are not needed by Richard Agar at Huddersfield, they will be available for James Webster on dual registration for Rovers game against Halifax on Sunday evening.
