Agar names squad for Giants clash

Leeds Rhinos coach Richard Agar has named his 19 man squad to travel to Huddersfield Giants this Friday, kick off 7.45pm.
Agar makes one change to the 19 man squad from the clash with Hull FC a fortnight ago with Richie Myler returning from suspension. He replaces Callum McLelland in the extended squad to face the Giants.
Winger Ash Handley will make his 100th appearance for the Rhinos in Friday’s game having made his debut in 2014. The former Oulton Raider is the Rhinos leading try scorer this season with 15 tries, just three behind the top try scorer in the Betfred Super League, Salford’s Niall Evalds. Handley is also the Rhinos leading metre maker this season with 2466 metres so far and has had more carries than any other back with 302.
The Rhinos side includes three former Giants players with Shaun Lunt and Brett Ferres both having played four seasons at the John Smith’s Stadium whilst hooker Brad Dwyer spent time there on loan from Warrington Wolves in 2013, making six appearances. Lunt made 123 appearances for the Giants whilst Ferres gained 77 appearances and scored 28 tries. Centre Harry Newman will be up against his home town club.
