Players from local girls teams invited to take part in community activity at Leeds Rhinos Women’s game

Women’s Challenge Cup winners, Leeds Rhinos Women, will play Castleford Tigers Women at Emerald Headingley on Saturday 17th August and local players are being invited to be part of the community match day experience.

The day will be a celebration Women’s rugby league and Leeds Rhinos Foundation will be offering local girls teams the opportunity to take part in pre-match activity on the Emerald Headingley pitch.

Players from U14 and U16s girls teams will be participating in a training exhibition before the U12s players will take part in a rugby league festival.

Any girl playing primary Rugby League is also invited to be a player escort and walk out with a player for each team. For anyone interested in their child doing this please email lois.forsell@leedsrhinosfoundation.org.

Juniors (16-years and younger) are free and do not require a ticket. All other tickets are £5.
