Leeds Rhinos host Hull KR at Emerald Headingley Stadium this Friday 12th July, kick off 7.45pm, in a crucial Betfred Super League meeting. Turnstiles open at 5.15pm and there’s a hive of activity taking place around the ground before the big game kicks off, so come down early and start your weekend in style. Here’s everything that’s kicking off on Friday and all the match day information you need…

Emergency Services Cup Curtain Raiser

West Yorkshire Police take on West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service in a curtain raiser to the main game, where the two rugby league teams will battle it out to win the Emergency Services Cup. Kick off is 5.30pm and entry is included with your ticket to the main game.

We’ll also be celebrating the Emergency Services with entertainment around the ground including a police van outside the Ticket Office and fire engines in the South Stand Car Park.

Great Nando’s Giveaways

Nando’s are joining us on Friday for some awesome giveaways for Rhinos fans. Look out for the Nando’s team handing out free vouchers ahead of kick off where you can claim a free ¼ chicken, burger or pitta at selected Nando’s restaurants. T&Cs apply.

Plus don’t miss the Nando’s Half Time Kicking Challenge where two lucky contestants will go head to head in a conversion competition on the pitch, in the hope of winning some amazing Nando’s prizes – including free Nando’s for a year!

Red Devils Parachute Rescheduled For This Friday!

We’re delighted to announce that last month’s parachute jump has been rescheduled and the Red Devils Parachute Regiment Freefall Team are set to join us at Emerald Headingley Stadium this Friday (weather permitting). We’d like to thank the Red Devils for their cooperation over the past few weeks in a combined effort to re-arrange the jump. Always one of the most popular match day spectacles amongst the fans, the parachute jump will take place this Friday just minutes before kick off as the parachutists land on the pitch ready to welcome the teams.

Welcome The 1999 Challenge Cup Winners

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the famous 1999 Challenge Cup Final, where Leeds Rhinos produced a record breaking display to defeat London Broncos 52-10 at the old Wembley stadium, the playing squad have been invited to join us this week to celebrate the anniversary. Please welcome the team onto the pitch for a special presentation pre-match.

Plus fans can visit the Leeds Rhinos Foundation Heritage exhibition in the Café Bar before kick off for classic memorabilia on display.

Sensory Nook is Supporting Leeds Rhinos SEN Fans this July

There is nothing we love more than the bustle and excitement of match days and the roar of Rhinos supporters cheering our team on.  We do recognise however that for some fans with special needs such as Autism this can be a challenging experience.  We want everyone to be able to enjoy match days in our fantastic stadium, so we invited Sensory Nook to bring one of their pods to see if it works for you.

Sensory Nook is a relaxing mobile pod that reduces noise levels to more tolerable levels and has a selection of sensory equipment designed to calm and lower anxiety.  Sensory Nook reduces sensory overload within busy areas, so occupants remain part of the experience but in a more manageable space.  We hope it will help our fans with disabilities, and their family and friends who support them, to attend and fully enjoy match days on equal terms with everyone else.  You will find the Sensory Nook in the Extentia Café Bar – do try it out and let us know how it works for you.
