Good Friday is family day at Emerald Headingley Stadium at our next home Betfred Super League game against Huddersfield Giants, kick off 3pm. Turnstiles open at 12.30pm on game day so come down early to enjoy what’s on offer and make the most of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of match day…
How Much Are Tickets?
Tickets are selling well for Friday’s clash with seated areas now sold out. Book your match tickets now in the standing terraces to secure the cheapest price and save £3 on match day prices. Advance tickets in the South Stand Terrace, Extentia Terrace and West Terrace for just £12 for juniors (16 & under), £16 for concessions* and £24 for adults when you buy in advance.
Buy match tickets online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, call the Ticket Office on 0371 423 1315 or buy in person from the Ticket Office at Emerald Headingley Stadium.
If you buy tickets online you can choose our free print at home option to avoid the booking fee and save you queuing to collect your tickets on match day.
Advance match ticket prices are valid until midnight on Thursday and prices increase on match day by £3, so please book in advance to guarantee the cheapest price on your ticket.
Collecting Your Tickets
If you need to collect your tickets on match day please head to the collections point in the Ticket Office on St Michael’s Lane.
Please note that only South Stand Season Members and match ticket purchasers can use the South Stand turnstiles – the St Michael’s Lane and Kirkstall Lane turnstiles allow access for all match tickets.
Bag searches are in operation at all turnstiles & bags must not be larger than an A4 piece of paper in size. All cards and tickets will be checked upon entry into the stands and remember that if you have any issues with your match day experience please text our fans phone on 07500 312 832.
One Try And You’re Converted
We’re delighted to welcome Nando’s to Emerald Headingley on Friday, who will be handing out some awesome Nando’s giveaways on the turnstiles as you enter the ground. Plus look out for the half time kicking competition on the pitch, where two lucky fans can win some amazing Nando’s prizes!
Watch The Hull Derby
We’ll be showing the Hull FC v Hull KR derby, which kicks off at 12.45pm, on our giant video walls in the South Stand concourse. Come down early and watch the Super League match ahead of our kick off against the Giants. All fans will be able to gain access to the South Stand concourse, but will need a South Stand ticket to gain entry into the stand.
Fancy A Pint?
Enjoy a pint on match day with our new reusable cups. Available on all bars in the stadium (with the exception of the Long Bar), the cups are just £1 deposit and there are 3 heritage designs, featuring images of ex-players and club legends through the years, as well as classic Rhinos blue and amber designs. At the end of the night, keep your cup as a souvenir or return it to the bar to claim your deposit! Fans can also stick around after the match and enjoy discounts up to £1 on all draught products in the South Stand concourse bars.
All our bars accept cash, debit/credit card and contactless payments as well as apple and android pay.
Amazing Animals Around The Ground
Visit the Creepy Crawlies workshop and get up close and personal with some weird and wonderful crazy creatures, plus look out for a giant T-Rex roaming around the stadium! Our neighbours at Hope Pastures will be bringing ponies and donkeys for fans to meet and promote the valuable work the charity does to re-habilitate and re-home horses, ponies and donkeys in need.
We also welcome Guide Dogs UK to Emerald Headingley with our favourite four-legged friends joining us to raise money for the vital work the charity does to provide life-changing services for those who are registered blind or partially-sighted. Please give generously as you enter the turnstiles.
Your Favourite Super Heroes
Look out for the amazing Spiderman, Marvel icons Captain America and Black Panther and Gotham’s protector Batman meeting and greeting fans around the ground and make sure to grab a selfie your favourite character!
Around the ground, enjoy live music from buskers in all areas of the stadium, as well as on the pitch where we’ll have more live music performances in the build up to kick off and at half time.
Fans can get their portraits drawn for free by our caricature artist and enjoy face painting and balloon twisting around the ground. Be sure to head to the Kids Zone to meet Leeds Rhinos players and enjoy more great free entertainment for kids before kick off, including a mini disco, the passing zone to practice your skills and a visit from everyone’s favourite Ronnie the Rhino.
Located underneath the Long Bar, the Kids Zone is the perfect place to entertain young Rhinos fans in a safe environment upon arrival at Emerald Headingley Stadium. Parents and guardians can sign children into the Kids Zone before going to enjoy a drink and pre match entertainment in the Long Bar on the floor above the Kids Zone, before coming back to collect children and taking to the stands to get ready for kick off. The Long Bar is open to all fans pre match at every home game this year, with drinks available and live music on offer. Please note the Long Bar is open exclusively for Gold Members after the final whistle.
Juniors – Put Your Boots On
After the final whistle all Junior Members have been invited to stick around and join in with Junior Rhinos Training, led by qualified Leeds Rhinos Foundation staff for a one hour session on the Emerald Headingley pitch. CLICK HERE to find out how to join the Junior Rhinos training session.
Your South Stand Hosts
There will be entertainment in the South Stand concourse with host Matt Horton joined by Leeds Rhinos Women’s captain Lois Forsell this week. Join Matt and Lois for pre game analysis and interviews with players as well as live music on the South Stand podium from Francesca Anna. There will be more analysis in the South Stand at half time and be sure to stick around after the final whistle for post match interviews and all fans can enjoy discounts up to £1 off all draught products in the South Stand, helping you make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend!
Pay On The Day
If you miss the advance ticket deadline on Thursday you can come along on match day and pay cash on the St Michael’s Lane turnstiles (Gate B) for entry to the Extentia Terrace, or the Kirkstall Lane turnstiles for entry to the West Terrace.
Please note that there are no cash turnstiles at the South Stand – if you would like to purchase tickets for the South Stand Terrace on match day you can do so from the Ticket Office on St Michael’s Lane. Match day prices for all standing terraces are £15 juniors, £19 concessions and £27 adults.*
Bring A Friend For Free
If you’re a Season Member this is one of 5 selected fixtures this season where you can bring a friend for FREE to this game! Use the promo code on your ‘Bring a friend for free’ voucher (included with your Season Membership pack) to redeem a free ticket for your friend in the same area of the ground as your Membership (subject to availability). You must claim a free ticket for your mate prior to 3 hours before kick off.
Season Member & Can’t Make The Game?
If you’re a Season Member and can’t make the game you can still list your spot for Buy Backs. You’ll get a match credit up to £10 if your spot sells to another fan.
