Leeds Rhinos head coach Dave Furner has included three debutants in his 19-man squad to face Workington Town this Friday in the Coral Challenge Cup.

Callum McLelland, Owen Trout and Muizz Mustapha are all set to make their Rhinos debuts in the Round 5 Challenge Cup clash at Emerald  Headingley.

Under-19s players Trout and Mustapha have both played on loan at Dewsbury in recent weeks and have also played at Featherstone on dual registration alongside McLelland, who joined the Rhinos ahead of the current season from Scottish Rugby Union.

The squad includes eleven players who have been part of the club’s Academy system and four who were part of the England Academy side that defeated the Australian Schoolboys last December.

Richie Myler returns to the squad after his one game suspension as does Brett Ferres, after two games.  Wellington Albert is set to make his home debut, following his first appearance for the Rhinos in last week’s game against Hull KR.

Jack Walker misses out with a shoulder injury and Cameron Smith is unavailable with a foot injury.  Tom Briscoe, Adam Cuthbertson, Konrad Hurrell and Brad Dwyer are all carrying injuries so will not risked this week and Trent Merrin is currently on compassionate leave.  Carl Ablett, Stevie Ward and Dom Crosby are still ruled out with long term injuries.
