Watkins returns for Rhinos

Leeds Rhinos welcome back skipper Kallum Watkins for this Saturday’s Betfred Super League game at Catalans Dragons after the skipper missed two games with a knee injury.

He replaces youngster Harry Newman in the squad however Adam Cuthbertson is ruled out with the ankle injury that forced him off the field in last week’s defeat to London Broncos.

Brad Dwyer, Cameron Smith and Brad Singleton, who all did not feature against the Broncos are included and teenage prop Tom Holroyd retains his place in the squad for the trip to France.

Richie Myler is set to make his 300th career appearance against the side he joined the Rhinos from last year. Myler has made 38 appearances for the Rhinos following 50 for the Dragon between 2016 and 2017. He spent six seasons at Warrington Wolves making 145 appearances having established himself at Salford between 2008-09 with 53 senior appearances. Back in 2007, he made his senior debut at Widnes Vikings, were he made two appearances. Last Autumn, Myler gained his tenth cap for England in the Third Test at Elland Road and also made an appearance for the England Knights in 2011.
