Merrin, Lolohea and Hurrell set for Rhinos debut

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Dave Furner has included all three of his new signings from the NRL in his 19 man squad to face Warrington Wolves this Saturday in the Betfred Super League at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick off 5.15pm.

Konrad Hurrell, Tui Lolohea and Trent Merrin are all named in Furner’s first squad as Rhinos Head Coach along with fellow new recruit James Donaldson. The forward joined the Rhinos on a one year contract after impressing during an initial trial period having left Hull KR at the end of last season.

Ash Handley is set to start on the wing having been awarded the number five squad number following the departure of England international Ryan Hall during the off season. Kallum Watkins returns to lead the squad having come through his first game back since May in his testimonial match against Castleford Tigers a fortnight ago.
