Over 100 Junior Members attended a brand new Junior Rhinos training session held on the pitch at Emerald Headingley Stadium last Saturday morning.

In partnership with Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Leeds Rhinos Netball, the mixed ability event was designed to cater for boys and girls of all ages, to give junior members the chance to brush up on their current rugby skills or try a new sport for the very first time. The skills session was run by a team of qualified coaching staff, who focused on various Rugby League and Netball activities.

Attendees were lucky to be joined by Brad Singleton and Alex Sutcliffe from the Leeds Rhinos men’s squad, as well as players from the Leeds Rhinos women’s team, U19’s Academy and some of Leeds Rhinos elite netball players.

This free event was the first of its kind and the club are hoping to hold more sessions like this before the end of the 2018 season. Thanks must go to all staff and players involved in planning the event and running it on the day, also to the fans for coming down to take part. Make sure you check out the official photo gallery on the Leeds Rhinos Facebook page!
