Womens Quarter Final clash with Army confirmed
Leeds Rhinos Women will play The Army at the Sports Park Weetwood on Sunday 1st July, kick off 1pm, in the Quarter Final of the Women’s Challenge Cup.
The Army, who are not in the Super League had an impressive win in the last round, defeating Hull Wyke 84-0 to seal their spot.
Elsewhere, Castleford Tigers will host St Helens in the headline tie of the Women’s Challenge Cup quarter finals.
The Tigers recovered from a 14-6 half-time deficit to beat holders Bradford Bulls 32-14 at Odsal on Sunday and will welcome Saints, who were 78-0 winners against Hull FC at the Totally Wicked Stadium, to West Yorkshire.
The other all-Women’s Super League tie sees Wigan Warriors travel to face 2017 Cup finalists, Featherstone Rovers.
And Championship title contenders Barrow will be looking to cause an upset when they welcome Super League’s York City Knights to Cumbria.
The 2018 Women’s Challenge Cup Final will be hosted at Wigan’s Robin Park Arena on Saturday, August 4, with the Women’s Shield Final kicking off a double-header of action (KO TBC).
Admission to the Quarter Final at Weetwood is by £5 donation for adults and free for children.
