Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves Match Day Information
Leeds Rhinos are back in action at Emerald Headingley Stadium this Friday 4th May to face Warrington Wolves in the next round of the 2018 Betfred Super League, kick off 7.45pm.
The game takes place on official Star Wars day and we’ve got loads of Star Wars entertainment taking place to help transform Emerald Headingley into a galaxy far, far away. Keep reading for all your match day information.
Tickets Still Available – Buy in Advance For Cheapest Price
Standing tickets are still available for the West Terrace and if you buy before midnight on Thursday 3rd May you can secure the cheapest price for just: £10 juniors*, £13 concessions* and £20 adults.
As it stands there are also limited single seats available in the North Stand and Carnegie Stand with prices starting from £13 juniors*, £16 concessions* and £23 adults.
Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, over the phone on 0371 423 1315 or in person at the Club Shop at Emerald Headingley Stadium (open 9am-5pm Mon-Sat).
Beat The Queues & Print At Home
Save the £1.50 booking fee by printing your ticket at home. No need to collect tickets before the match so you can avoid the queues! Supporter Members do not pay the booking fee.
If you do choose to collect your tickets on Friday please head to the official collections point in the Ticket Office on St Michael’s Lane (entrance is street side). Please arrive early to avoid congestion and to save you queuing.
The stadium is located in a residential area so please respect our local residents and ensure you do not hinder their access to and from their property.
Join The Rebellion… Star Wars Entertainment Around The Ground!
Head to Amber Avenue for all your pre match entertainment before kick off. Amber Avenue is the stretch from the Kirkstall Lane turnstiles to the West Terrace and North Stand (underneath the Cricket Stand) and can be accessed by fans entering from all sides of the stadium. If you use the St Michael’s Lane turnstiles, you can walk behind the cricket stand to access Amber Avenue.
The 99thGarrison will be joining us with some iconic Star Wars characters on Friday. Look out for Darth Vader, Kylo Ren and a hoard of stormtroopers roaming around – check out the video below for a taster of what to expect on the day.
Jedi Master Ronnie will be handing out free light saber posters, courtesy of main club sponsors Leeds Building Society, on Amber Avenue, and our face painters will be offering free Star Wars style designs for all fans – perfect for fans to get a photo with Ronnie with Leeds Building Society’s photo boards.
Look out for a very special performance from the Heart Yorkshire Dance Team at half time with some Star Wars props and a surprise performance from Ronnie the Rhino!
Star Wars Fancy Dress
We’re encouraging fans to wear appropriate Star Wars fancy dress on Friday – crack out your jedi robes and join in the fun.
Please be respectful of our stadium entry checks, and whether you’re on the dark side or the light side we ask that all lightsabers and ‘weapons’ are left in your spacecrafts before entering and that all costumes are appropriate and without face coverings.
Star Wars ‘Force Friday’ Menu
Head to the Carnegie Café Bar on Friday for your pre-match feed, and this week fans can enjoy a special Star Wars themed menu in honour of ‘Force Friday’:
- Jabba the Hummus
- Princess Leia Pizza
- Obi-Wan Kabbab-ies
- Chewbacca Bites
Meal deals are available from £4 which includes a main dish and choice of hot or cold soft drink or bottle of water.
Families can visit the Heart Family Zone in the Carnegie Café Bar on match day, with free entertainment for the kids including colouring and activity sheets and a mini disco.

Rhinos fans can purchase tickets for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation 2018 Grand Raffle on Friday. Look out for sellers around the ground or pop into the Club Shop and get your ticket for just £1. The top prize this year is a Hot Tub from global leader and manufacturer of hot tubs and hydro massage products, and associate partner of Leeds Rhinos, Jacuzzi®. Other prizes include a £250 Trinity Shopping voucher, a range of Leeds Rhinos memorabilia, sparkling afternoon tea at Weetwood Hall, Slingsby Gin, a food hamper from Morrisons and a year’s gym membership at ProFit28.
Help Us Become Dementia Friendly
We’re working with Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Dementia Friends to help our organisation and local community become dementia friendly. Visit the Dementia Friends stall on Amber Avenue on Friday to find out more, and you can sign up to one of our free awareness sessions taking place throughout May. It’s completely free to attend the one-hour sessions and there’s no commitment involved. You can sign up on Friday or register your attendance at a free session at tickets.therhinos.co.uk under the Events tab.
Long Bar Open For All Pre Match
This season at Emerald Headingley, the Long Bar is open for all fans pre match, with hot food available priced £6.50. Alex Simmons from Rugby AM will be hosting pre match entertainment in the Long Bar with interviews with Rhinos players.
After the final whistle, the Long Bar is open exclusively for Gold Members, with Rugby AM hosting entertainment and presenting the Man of the Match and Coach’s Player Awards.
Where Else Can I Purchase Food & Drinks?
Food and drinks is available to buy from concession vans and bars situated around the stadium – on Amber Avenue by the Kirkstall Lane turnstiles and outside the Rugby Offices by the St Michael’s Lane turnstiles.
Fans can also purchase food and drink from the bar on the corner of the Carnegie Stand and in the Carnegie Café Bar.

Can I Pay On The Day At The Turnstiles?
As it stands, cash turnstiles will be available on the night at Kirkstall Lane for entry to the West Terrace only.
Match day standing prices are £22 for adults, £15 for concessions* and £12 for juniors*.
Due to the ongoing stadium redevelopments, accessible turnstiles on match day this season are on St Michael’s Lane for fans in the Carnegie Stand & Carnegie Terrace, South Stand and North Stand blocks F-H, and Kirkstall Lane for fans in the West Terrace and North Stand blocks A-E.
Match Day Bag Checks
Match day bag checks will take place on all turnstiles this season, either prior to entering or just on the inside of the turnstiles. Where possible, fans are advised to leave bags and rucksacks at home, and if you do bring a bag we recommend it is no bigger than an A4 piece of paper. All bags will be subject to a full search and will be tagged once the search is complete.
Please be respectful of our entry checks regarding Star Wars fancy dress and wear appropriate costumers only with no props or items that could be considered dangerous, including light sabers.
