Under 16s travel to face City of Hull Academy tonight

A young Leeds Rhinos U16s side will travel to face the City of Hull Academy tonight in their penultimate game of the season.
There is a change of venue for the fixture now taking place at Hull University, Inglemire Road, Hull, HU6 7TS, kick off 7pm.
The side is mainly made up of Under 15 players and is similar to the side that travelled to face Newcastle Thunder recently as Under 16s coach Mark Butterill has a look at the next generation of players in the scholarship.
Looking ahead to the game, Butterill said, “We are looking to build on the Newcastle game and obviously there are some things we are hoping to fix up as well. It will be a physical challenge for our young lads, that extra year is a big development period but it will be good to see how they handle the challenge. We are getting better week on week and learning the discipline that is needed. We have one remaining game this season against St Helens when we will field our side that represents the best version of ourselves, regardless of age, and we are looking forward to two good performances to finish the season.”
