As we count down to the World Club Challenge against Melbourne Storm on Friday 16th February, we are counting down each day with 50 of the most memorable moments for the club against Australian sides down the years from Kangaroos to Cowboys.
5. Marcus Bai meets Sonny Bill
It was one of the most memorable moments of one of the most memorable games against Australian opposition, when an entire sold out Elland Road stadium all winced at once.
Sonny Bill Williams had already earned a reputation as one of the biggest hitters in the game as he helped Canterbury Bulldogs win the 2004 NRL Premiership whilst Marcus Bai had become a firm favourite at Headingley with his no nonsense direct running.
Fireworks were guaranteed when the two collided and the did not disappoint!
