50 most memorable moments v Australians

As we count down to the World Club Challenge against Melbourne Storm on Friday 16th February, we are counting down each day with 50 of the most memorable moments for the club against Australian sides down the years from Kangaroos to Cowboys.
17. Ben Jones-Bishop edges Rhinos towards third World title
Emerald Headingley hosted the World Club Challenge for the first time in 2012. The Rhinos had rewritten the record books the previous Autumn by winning the Grand Final from fifth position in Brian McDermott’s first season in charge and now they faced the all conquering Manly Sea Eagles at home.
The game was nip and tuck throughout and with just six minutes to go, over 20,000 fans were still on the edge of their seats until the Rhinos managed to edge themselves two scores clear when Ben Jones-Bishop crossed following a great offload by Kallum Watkins and Emerald Headingley went crazy.
Jones-Bishop, who has scored in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley in 2011, would go on to score in Grand Final later that year in 2012 against Warrington Wolves at Old Trafford to complete an impressive career hat trick of tries in major finals.
