Parcell, Lilley & Smith Join In Ronnie’s Club Fun

Last night over 75 junior fans joined Ronnie the Rhino at the annual Ronnie’s Club Summer Party, for an evening of fun and games on the Headingley Carnegie pitch.
Rhinos stars Matt Parcell, Jordan Lilley and Cameron Smith came along to join in with the fun, which included a team game of scatter-ball, a tackle skills session, tag games, relay races and try scoring games, lead by the Junior Rhinos Coaches and Leeds Rhinos Foundation staff.
The fun and games didn’t stop there, with everyone taking part in a huge race across the pitch from the West Terrace to Carnegie Stand, which culminated in a mass dive over the try line. Competitive as always, Ronnie the Rhino did his best to be first over the line but many of the budding young fans were quick on their feet and raced over the line with great pace!
One of the great benefits of Ronnie’s Club is the Player Mascot Draw, which took place last night and saw 3 lucky fans win the coveted prize to be player mascot on a Rhinos home game.
Thank you to all juniors for attending, and for the players, Junior Rhinos Coaches and Rhinos and Foundation staff for giving up their time to time to help out and put on such a great event.
