Be part of history with your South Stand memories

On Friday 18th August, the famous Headingley South Stand will witness its last game and we are inviting all fans to contribute to the celebrations and mark their place in history.
The South Stand was opened in 1931 and has witnessed some of the greatest talents in the game’s history down the years as well as countless memorable occasions.
The game on 18th August will be a celebration of the last 86 years with former players involved from over the decades along with special events to mark the occasion. However, the thing that makes the South Stand so special is the people who are the South Stand and we want your memories and recollections from down the years.
It might be a player you remember making his debut or an incredible individual achievement or a memorable match. Or perhaps it is something more personal to you, your first game or maybe taking your child or grandchild to their first game. Whatever makes the South Stand special to you, we want to hear about it.
