Ormondroyd and Aston set to feature for Featherstone on dual registration

Cory Aston and Jack Ormondroyd are in line to appear for the first time as Featherstone Rovers in 2017, after being included in a 22-man squad ahead of Sunday’s visit of Wakefield Trinity.

Aston and Ormondroyd arrive as part of the Rovers’ dual-registration agreement with the pair’s parent club, Leeds Rhinos.

The newcomers are joined in Featherstone’s pre-match line-up by new signing Josh Hardcastle, who could appear as an official Rovers player for the first time since agreeing a contract to remain at The Big Fellas Stadium.

The 22-man squad: Andy Bostock, Anthony Thackeray , Brad Tagg, Cory Aston, Darrell Griffin, Ian Hardman, Jack Ormondroyd, James Duckworth, James Kitchen,  Jason Walton, John Davies, Josh Hardcastle, Keal Carlisle, Kyle Briggs, Kyran Johnson, Matty Wildie, Michael Knowles, Luke Briscoe, Luke Cooper, Richard Moore, Sam Day, Scott Turner.

The action gets underway from 3.00pm on Sunday afternoon, with gates opening at 1.00pm.

Admission is priced at £15 (adults), £10 (concessions) and £5 (juniors). Secure car parking is available, on a first-come, first-served basis, at £5 per space.
