Past and present players from the world of Rugby League will be at the event and there will be a chance to hear from twice winner of the Harry Sunderland award, Rob Burrow and current Man of Steel, Zak Hardaker.  Garry Schofield OBE and Roy Dickinson will also be giving their insight to their time at Leeds.

The evening starts at 7pm and tables are £200, which includes a hot supper, or individual tickets can be purchased for £20.  There will be a raffle, auction and places can be reserved by contacting John Peat, RTS UK Director and fundraiser, on 07890535914.

Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome (RTS) is a specific pattern of physical features and development disabilities, and is the result of a chromosomal abnormality, which occurs very early on in a baby’s development in the womb.
The syndrome is named after US doctors Jack Rubinstein and Hooshang Taybi, who first identified it, and it is estimated that it occurs in between 1 in 100,000 and 1 in 125,000 births. What causes the chromosomal defect is not known, and there is no known cure.

The RBS Support Group started in a small way with one mum keeping in touch with other affected families by telephone and letter. In 1986, a couple of families got together and started producing a newsletter and arranging annual get-togethers.

Over the years since then, membership has grown, links have been made with medical and psychology professionals, and events have become more sophisticated, and in 2012 we became a company limited by guarantee.
