YouTube stars call in to visit Rhinos on tour of North of England

Leeds Rhinos were joined by two special guests at Headingley Carnegie ahead of training today when YouTube stars Marko and Alex Ayling; a.k.a The ‘Vagabrothers’ met up with Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
The Californian-brothers have travelled the world, exploring some of the most famous and exotic places on earth and their latest journey brought them to Headingley Carnegie Stadium.
The pair, who produce films documenting their trips across the globe for their YouTube channel, Vagabrothers, were in Yorkshire as part of a tour to some of the most historical places in the north of England for a new nine part series on their YouTube channel.
The vlog (video blog) of their visit will be published in mid-April as part of Marko and Alex’s north of England tour. You can see the Vagabrothers channel on YouTube by clicking here
Their channel has 81,000 subscribers on YouTube with 4.5 million views on their channel. They strive to create entertaining content that promotes cultural understanding and global awareness through the joy of travel.
Jamie Jones-Buchanan was quick to educate them about the culture of our game and the city of Leeds and had many questions for the brothers having become a fan of their online video journals around the globe. He then put them through their paces on the Headingley Carnegie pitch before Assistant Coach Barry Eaton gave the boys a quick kicking coaching course to see who could win in a head to head battle.
Commenting on the visit England international Jones-Buchanan said, “I think it is great that Marko and Alex have come down to see us today. They will be showing Rugby League to an audience who have probably never heard of the game or seen the Rhinos. I think this shows the fantastic opportunities that lie out there for us as a sport.”
