Aiton nominated for First Utility Super League player of the month
Title sponsor First Utility have launched a new format for the Official First Utility Super League Player of the Month competition which lets fans vote for the league’s most outstanding players.
Paul Aiton makes the final shortlist, which was announced in League Weekly today (Monday 6th) after a solid showing in all four of his Rhinos’ appearances in March. The 29 year old Hooker averaged 28 tackles a game, and played an important role in his side’s 3-1 record last month. His standout game was against Wigan Warriors, where his grubber kick set-up Leeds’ opening try as they mounted an impressive comeback against last year’s beaten Grand Finalists.
