Achurch declared fit for Perpignan trip

Rhinos forward Mitch Achurch could be set to return to action this Saturday having missed the Rhinos last two games through injury after being named in Brian McDermott’s squad to to travel to Perpignan to face Catalans Dragons.

The Rhinos will be without the injured trio of Tom Briscoe, Kevin Sinfield and Kylie Leuluai however Achurch's return to fitness is a timely boost. 

The game could be a landmark occasion for Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow. McGuire is eleven points short of a total 1,000 for the club and needs four tries to reach 250 for Leeds. McGuire's total of 246 touchdowns has been reached in 352 games for the Rhinos since 2001. Meanwhile, Burrow needs three points to reach 1,000 for Leeds. Burrow's total of 997 has been reached with 172 tries, 152 goals and 5 field goals in 414 games for the Rhinos since 2001.

Ryan Hall will make his 200th Super League appearance in the game whilst Carl Ablett has scored a try in each of the Rhinos' last three meetings with Catalans Dragons.
