Ellis set to return against former side

Hull FC skipper Gareth Ellis and prop forward Feka Paleaaesina have been named in Lee Radford’s 19-man squad to face Leeds Rhinos at the KC Stadium on Thursday evening, Kick off 8pm.

The Airlie Birds boss has announced three changes to the preliminary squad that travelled across to Salford on Saturday, with captain Ellis returning to fitness following a rib cartilage injury that ruled him out of Hull's previous two Super League fixtures.

The 33-year old takes the place of young gun Dean Hadley in the side, and is joined by fellow forward Feka Paleaaesina who receives the nod from Lee Radford for the first time in the 2015, having spent two weeks on dual registration with Doncaster.

Hull veteran Richard Whiting drops out of the side, having broke his hand in the physical encounter at the AJ Bell Stadium last weekend, whilst youngster James Cunningham also left the pitch early after receiving a head knock which has ruled him out of Thursday's clash.

Australian centre Steve Michaels is the final addition to Lee Radford's preliminary squad and has not featured since the previous Super League encounter at the KC Stadium, in which he impressed on debut against Warrington Wolves three weeks ago.
