Under 19s look to get back to winning ways

Rhinos U19 Head Coach Chris Plume has made one change to his side to face Widnes on Thursday night at Stanningley, kick off 7.30pm.

The Rhinos lost out 44-26 at Huddersfield last weekend but have an immediate chance to get things moving in the right direction with a clash against Widnes next up.

Scrum half Joe Sanderson makes his first appearance of the season as he comes in for Jordan Lilley in the starting line up. Joe is from Leeds and joined the Rhinos in 2011 from Drighlington. He is a good organiser with great vision for a pass, he has continued to develop well this season and is an outstanding goal kicker.

On the bench, forward Nyle Flynn comes in for his first appearance at Under 19 level. Flynn previously played at Dewsbury Celtic and joined the Rhinos in 2012 from Huddersfield Giants. He replaces Dan Grange on the bench.

Widnes' U19s won their opening game against London at home but have lost both their subsequent games Huddersfield and Salford.

The team in full is: Golding, McDermott, Handley, Harper, Brierley, White, Sanderson, Mulhern, Ward, Stapleford, Walters, England, Minchella.
Subs: Frankland, Flynn, Milton, Samme
