Good luck Barrie McDermott in London Marathon

Leeds Rhinos legend Barrie McDermott will face his biggest sporting challenge this Sunday since hanging up his boots when he heads to the start line of the London Marathon.

McDermott is running to raise funds and awareness for Mencap in the world famous race but, having completed a number of half marathons in recent years, this is the first time he has attempted the full 26.2 miles of the marathon.

McDermott has teamed up with fundraiser Bronagh Daly, the wife of Rhinos Media Manager Phil Daly, to raise funds for Mencap by running the marathon. You can sponsor them at www.justgiving.com/lmbronaghdaly2013 or text Lmbb59£5 to 70070 to donate £5.

Good luck to all those who are taking part in the London Marathon, hopefully everyone will have a safe and enjoyable experience and raise funds for fantastic good causes.
