Brown pleased despite loss

Huddersfield Giants coach Nathan Brown said he was pleased with a tough game against the Rhinos ahead of his side’s clash with Warrington next weekend in the play offs.

Brown revealed the influential Leroy Cudjoe will miss Friday's play-off with Warrington through a knee injury suffered in the second half.

He added of the prospects of taking on the Wolves: "We need to tighten up one or two areas. I was particularly disappointed with our start to each half today.

"Warrington start games with great intensity, and so we'll have to be ready for them.

"We've been in the top four now for the last few years. The more practice you get at the play-offs, hopefully, the better you'll get at them.

"What I was looking for today was some improvement on last week. We did that, but we came up against a very good Leeds side who played really well."
