Rugby league mourns death of Dana Wilson

Rugby League fans are being asked to pay their respects to Swinton Lions player Dana Wilson by honouring a minute’s silence before each of this weekend’s Engage Super League fixtures and Co-operative Championships play-off ties.

Mr Wilson, 28, was a member of the Swinton team that secured the 2011 Co-operative Championship One title and previously played for Oldham, Leigh and Halifax.

He was killed in a road traffic accident last Sunday.
