McGuire low after defeat
Danny McGuire admitted the Rhinos dressing room was a sombre place following his side’s 42-6 defeat to League Leaders Warrington at Headingley Carnegie.
The Rhinos trailed 12-6 at the break but conceded 30 unanswered points after the break. Speaking to Rhinos TV McGuire said, “Everyone is down at the moment, Warrington were good value for their win and we have to take it on the chin. We felt good at half time. We had lived with them and could have been in front if we had taken our chances.
“But they were clinical after half time and they took their chances and starved us of the ball. We have not performed well against the side’s above us in the table this year but we get another chance next week against St Helens and we have to pick ourselves up,” added McGuire.
