Leeds' oldest fan attends Wolves game

There will be an extra special guest at tonight’s game against Warrington, with the club’s oldest fan Madge Satterthwaite coming along as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the 1961 Championship Final win.

Madge turned 100 last February and now lives in Roundhay and still follows the Rhinos. She last attended our Veteran Fans Club Christmas Lunch in 2009 but is coming to tonight's game with her daughter Linda.

Madge's late husband Stan, came from Cumbria to Leeds in 1928 and played for Leeds until 1946 when he continued to be involved at the club as a groundsman.

Madge's father was Billy Cross, who was the trainer at Leeds RL and who brought her to her first Leeds game during the First World War and she has been an avid fan ever since.
