Rhinos 19 man squad to face Catalan

Brian McDermott has named his side for the Rhinos game against Catalan Dragons at Headingley Carnegie Stadium this Friday 13th May, kick off 8pm.

The Rhinos will be without Danny McGuire, Brent Webb and Chris Clarkson after the trio were injured in the team’s last outing against Crusaders in the Carnegie Challenge Cup.

Ali Lauitiiti, who has been out of the side with a calf tear since March is included in the squad.  Weller Hauraki, who was a try scorer for the U20’s last week returns to the 19 and Zak Hardaker could be set to make his return to the first time after making a try scoring debut against St Helens back in March. Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Ryan Bailey also comes back into the side after missing the clash against Crusaders.

Catalan Dragons are seeking their first away win against Leeds tonight. The Dragons have lost on all six of their visits to Headingley Carnegie since 2006, including a 27-20 play-off defeat in 2009. Leeds have won the last three Super League meetings between the sides, with the Dragons' last win coming in a 32-30 victoty at Stade Gilbert Brutus on 6 June, 2009.
