Entertaining start to School Girls League
Parklands and Priesthorpe were involved in an entertaining fixture in their first game in Pool A of the School Girls U13 League.
This was the first game of the season for many of the year 7s at Priesthorpe, with many newcomers making their debut in the fixture. Priesthorpe played and co-operated extremely well throughout the whole of the game but narrowly missed out on the victory. In the first half, Parklands scored 5 tries, with a brace from Kelly and Colby and one from Courtney.
During the second half Priesthorpe came back and pushed their opponents all the way, crossing for 5 tries and keeping their opponents scoreless. Abi scored the last try of the game for Priesthorpe but it was not enough and they narrowly lost out in an entertaining start to the competition. Well Done to both teams!
