Sinfield happy to do his job

Leeds Rhinos skipper Kevin Sinfield modestly says he was just doing his job when he sealed a remarkable victory for the Rhinos with a last second touchline conversion against Warrington.

Sinfield had set up Scott Donald for the levelling score in the final minute but immediately knew that the try in the corner presented him with the toughest possible conversion attempt to win the game.

Speaking exclusively to Rhinos TV he revealed that he managed to put his nerves behind him to take the kick. He said, “I would be lying if I didn’t say that my heart was racing when Scotty scored the try in the corner. But that is the type of kick that you practise over and over in training and I was just pleased that I could do my bit to help get the two points. It was important for us that we won after losing against Wigan and there was a sense of relief when it went over and the final hooter went.”
