Smith not surprised by Sinfield's kick

Warrington boss Tony Smith said he wasn’t surprised to see Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield land the kick the conversion that saw his side lose to the Rhinos by just two points.

Speaking after the game the former Rhinos boss said "Kev’s a quality kicker and he puts in plenty of practice. Good on him, well done but I’d rather talk about my players. I was really pleased with the effort and there’s no problem losing when your team plays pretty close to its best and I thought we did that tonight. If they get beaten they get beaten but I feel like a winner, regardless of the two points. We need to handle defeat with pride and we will."
