McClennan happy with dramatic win
Leeds Rhinos Coach Brain McClennan praised his side for showing fortitude to come back and win in the final minute against Warrington.
Kevin Sinfield’s last minute conversion of a Scott Donald try was enough to snatch a 24-22 win for the Rhinos and the Leeds boss praised his captain and the team for fighting back to secure the win.
Speaking after the game McClennan said, "Kev can kick big goals and they don’t get any harder than that on the touchline. It was tough and I thought we were very tentative and pretty tense in the way we played. In the second half we relaxed and started to grow as the game went on. Warrington are big and they punched through us a lot. But I like the fact we have enough fortitude to come back and win so dramatically. That will bring the crowds back."
