Glanville proud to be back at Headingley Carnegie

Australian star Marc Glanville paid tribute to the Leeds Rhinos fans after making an emotional return to the club for the 1999 Reunion Dinner.

The event was a huge success with members of the 1999 Cup winning squad taking the chance to catch up with one another and they were soon back in the old routine.

The players will be in attendance on Friday night when the Rhinos take on Harlequins RL, the current version of the London Broncos who Leeds beat ten years ago at Wembley, and they will be taking the opportunity to watch the game from the South Stand.

Glanville revealed, "The fans were fantastic with me when I was here during my playing days and I can’t wait for Friday night. The noise and the chanting that they made was like nothing else I ever experienced, these are the best fans in the world.

"Graham Murray wanted to go and watch a game from the South Stand so we all said we were up for that, we can’t wait," added Glanville.
