The Rhinos face a trip to the JJB Stadium in their next fixture when they take on Wigan in their penultimate game of the season.

The Rhinos’ penultimate game of the season will be against Wigan Warriors which will be the first of two consecutive away fixtures for the team. It will be a tough test for Leeds who have already played the Warriors in three nail biting matches this season. In the first game, despite Scott Donald and Kylie Leuluai both scoring tries and Kevin Sinfield adding a goal, Wigan were the 14-10 winners thanks partly to three Pat Richard’s goals which proved to be the only difference between the sides. In the second game the Rhinos triumphed 23-16 in the quarter final of the Carnegie Challenge Cup and in a tense finish it was a Scott Donald try Kevin Sinfield drop goal that helped settle the nerves of the Headingley Carnegie crowd. Wigan took revenge the following month at the JJB Stadium by securing victory by the narrowest of margins. The Rhinos trailed 23-6 after an hour but mounted a fightback by scoring three tries in ten minutes. It was not enough however and despite a brave effort they lost 23-22.
