PRICE PROMISE TO SEASON TICKET MEMBERS

Leeds Rhinos season tickets for the 2009 season will go on sale on Friday 15th August after the team play host to Castleford Tigers at Headingley Carnegie

Leeds Rhinos season tickets for the 2009 season will go on sale on Friday 15th August after the team play host to Castleford Tigers at Headingley Carnegie, kick off 8pm, in their final home game of the regular season. Following on from last year’s success, Leeds Rhinos will continue with the three tiered membership system they introduced last season, incorporating the standard season ticket package at Silver level and the new premium season ticket package at Gold level. Silver members will continue to get the usual benefits which include:

Personalised members access card
Priority on tickets for cup, play offs and major finals
Discount on away travel
Bring a friend for free to a home game

Two new benefits have been introduced for 2009
Free entry to the 4th round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup regardless of whether it is played at home or away
50% discount on their Magic Weekend ticket

Early bird Silver season ticket prices start at £200 for adults and £113 for concessions. This is equivalent to getting three games free over the course of the season. The concessionary price is valid for senior citizens over 65, students in full time education and all young adults under 21. The Under 21 price category was introduced in 2008 to give a fairer deal for young people who leave school but choose to go into work rather than further education. Families will benefit in 2009 with no price rise for juniors. Junior season ticket prices start at £40 for under 12s and £55 for children aged 12 to 15. This means that juniors make a saving equivalent to around 8 free games. Juniors will continue to get free entry to all Rhinos away league games as well as receiving all the silver season ticket benefits. A new addition to the Junior Silver Season Ticket package in 2009 is free entry to the 4th, 5th and quarter finals of the Carnegie Challenge Cup, provided the Rhinos are involved. These early bird prices are valid until 7pm on Monday 8th December 2008 when prices will go up. Current season ticket holders’ seats will be reserved until this date also. The 2009 prices are also subject to a 2010 price freeze promise so if you purchase a season ticket for the 2009 season the club guarantee you will pay the same for the same season ticket package in 2010. Chief Executive Gary Hetherington said, "Season ticket holders are our most loyal fans and we want to reward that with season membership packages that are value for money. While there is a price rise in adult and concession season ticket prices, this is the first rise in two seasons and the average price of season tickets has risen by just £11.50 since 2006. This, along with the 2010 price freeze promise so if you purchase a season ticket for the 2009 season the club guarantee you will pay the same for the same season ticket package in 2010, means that our season ticket packages remain to be affordable. "We are also conscious that many of our season ticket holders have young families so there will be no price rise for juniors. In addition, there are more opportunities for season ticket holders to save money with a discount on their Magic Weekend ticket as well as on away travel. Juniors also get free entry to all away games and to the first three rounds of the Carnegie Challenge Cup." Gold Season Membership is also available for an upgrade fee of £20.
