engage Super League Champions Leeds Rhinos have announced that their opening game of the new season against Hull KR at Headingley Carnegie on Saturday 2nd February will be all ticket. The Rhinos have also revealed that they have sold over 10,000 season tickets for the new campaign and they are anticipating a capacity crowd for the visit of Hull KR. The Rhinos attracted a record average attendance last season of 17,516 and there are less than 800 seats left on sale for the Hull KR game already. Hull KR have been sent an initial allocation of 2,500 for the clash at Headingley Carnegie for the Western Terrace but with a host of players set to make their debuts for Rovers in this game, including former Leeds star Chev Walker, the Robins are expecting demand to be high. Commenting on the announcement Rhinos Chief Executive Gary Hetherington said, "Hull KR was one of our biggest attendances last year and the opening fixture is always one of our most popular games. The Leeds fans have been tremendous in their support of the team through season ticket sales and that remains the best value way for supporters to guarantee their place at the opening game of the season. "We are anticipating a sell out crowd for this game and would urge all Rhinos and Hull KR fans to get their ticket as soon as possible to avoid disappointment," added Hetherington. The Headingley Carnegie ticket office will sell tickets up until 3pm on the day of the game, subject to availability, and fans must buy tickets for the specific area of the ground they wish to stand in. Tickets for the Hull KR game can be purchased in person from both the Rhinos and Hull KR ticket office or 24 hours a day online by simply clicking here
