Tony Smith has said his team will use the disappointment of losing out on an automatic place in the Grand Final to set themselves up for next week’s clash with Wigan. The Rhinos lost their first home game of the season 26-12 to Bradford and the Rhinos coach has backed his team to respond to that defeat. "We are obviously disappointed and the players are down at the moment but they will pick themselves up for next week. We gave them the dream start in the first twenty minutes but I thought we played our best stuff in the next quarter of the match. We produced a lot of chances but did not make the most of them, that is not like us we have been really clinical this year, but all credit to Bradford they’re scrambling defence was great and they did not let us get on top. "We will remember this feeling and take it with us next week, we have not had too many low points this season at Headingley especially, and whilst it is never a good thing maybe it will stand us in good stead for the remainder of the season," added Smith.
