Shannon is often utilised an impact player off the bench she is a strong runner and one of the quickest in the squad, a great asset in her position in the middle of the park.

The former Leeds West Academy pupil previously played for Stanningley, where she won the Championship and League in 2017.  She also represented Yorkshire aged 16 in 2016.

She credits her teacher, Mrs Bishop West, as inspiring her to start playing rugby and whilst at school she also worked with her current team mate Lois Forsell, who coached her as part her role with Leeds Rhinos Foundation.  Lacey is now helping to promote and develop the women’s game herself and is working alongside Forsell in the Foundation as a development coach.
