Rhinos Netball NPL Squad 2022: Under-21s

England Roses Academy international attacker Annie James is part of Leeds Rhinos Netball’s 14-player Under-21s squad for 2022.
James was convinced to start playing netball by her year four teacher in PE lessons and after winning a school tournament two years later, she was hooked on the sport. She joined Leeds Athletic Netball Club, where she progressed through their age groups before being selected for the senior teams. She was named in Rhinos Netball’s Under-19s squad in 2018 and made the step up to the Under-21s two years later,
In 2022, James played with the Rhinos’ first team at the Fast5 pre season tournament, where she played in both games and scored two points, and also at the Rise Again Festival.
James currently studies at the University of Leeds.
