Head of Customer Experience ready for Ramble 4 Rob Challenge

This Saturday 12th December, Leeds Rhinos Head of Customer Experience is doing her own ‘Ramble 4 Rob’ fundraising challenge for Rob Burrow, which will see her walk 50 miles in 24 hours.

Along with her partner Richard and their friends David Butler, Kevin Deighton and Lee Paterson, the group will walk from Thixendale to Hessle which is the last 44 miles of the Yorkshire Wolds Way and then a further six miles to finish at the iconic Deep in Hull City Centre in the early hours of Sunday 13th December!

This challenge has been put together to raise money for Rob Burrow and they will also be making a contribution to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Sian, who has been with Leeds Rhinos for the last 16 years and has worked closely with Rob throughout her time at the club and wants to support her friends Rob and Lindsey and their children Macy, Maya and Jackson.

Speaking about the challenge Sian said: ‘’I am definitely looking forward to doing the Ramble 4 Rob now after months of planning. I’m slightly nervous because it is definitely a test for me but I am so incredibly overwhelmed by all the support we have had so far – our original aim was £777 and already through the £3k barrier!

“We want to raise as many pennies as we can for Rob who is our inspiration and to contribute towards the research into finding a cure for this cruel illness’’
