Rhinos reveal new 130th anniversary shirt
Leeds Rhinos have revealed a new look shirt to mark the 130th anniversary of the opening of Headingley Stadium in 1890.
The first rugby game at the stadium was 20th September 1890 when Leeds played Manningham, who would later switch codes and become Bradford City AFC.
The blue and amber shirt sees the return of the Leeds Rugby League crest to mark the occasion and includes a white collar. The shirt will be worn in a Betfred Super League game when the coronavirus lockdown is over. The shirt has the names of the 1456 who have played for the club since 1895 with the formation of the Northern Union.
The front of the shirt features the Leeds Building Society logo along with the logos of associate partners Global and Berrys and official kit suppliers ISC. The sleeves have the branding of club partners Southerns and SMUK along with the Betfred Super League logo. Three more partners are on the back of the shirt with Quest joined by LSS Waste Management and Napa.
The shirt is available in adult sizes XS to 6XL and ladies sizes 8-18 at £46.99. Junior shirts are available in sizes age 6 to 16 priced £36.99. Toddlers shirts are also on sale in sizes 0 to 4 and are £36.99 please note due to the size of the toddler shirts, these do not include the names of the heritage players.
