Leeds Rhinos are recruiting an Acquisition Marketing Manager to join Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will come from a marketing background with a wealth of experience and a successful track record in groups sales and fan engagement.

General Job Description

Working directly with the Head of Marketing the Acquisition Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining, managing and delivering the clubs ‘new fan’ acquisition strategy.  You will be responsible for the day to day management of Ambassador staff, who you will lead, motivate and develop whilst maintaining a focus on maximising fan acquisition and meeting commercial targets.

As part of this role you will work across Leeds Rhinos, Leeds Rhinos Foundation, Yorkshire Carnegie and Leeds Rhinos Netball.

Key performance indicators for this role will be based around new fan acquisition, data collection and revenue generation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Review and develop existing channels for group sales and fan acquisition.
  • Supporting the execution of the acquisition strategy, including campaign development and implementation across all sectors to reach engagement, ticket sale and revenue targets.
  • Working with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, Leeds Rhinos Commercial team and on your own initiative to explore and define new avenues for fan acquisition.
  • You will lead on regular Ambassador staff meetings, facilitate discussion and sharing of ideas related to growing sales revenue and the professional development of your team.
  • Ensuring data is collected for all sales in a GDPR compliant manner.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing partners.
  • Working alongside our agency to deliver best in class creative in line with brand values.
  • Continually bench marking activity against competition.
  • Working with the data analyst; drive insight and analytical understanding in to customer behaviour to further refine processes.
  • Working with the wider marketing team to plan events across all sectors aligned with the club’s wider objectives.
  • Day to day management of the acquisition marketing budget.

This is a full time role of 40 hours per week and you must be flexible in your commitment to this role as you will be expected to work evenings, weekends and match days. The salary will be dependent on the successful applicant’s skills, experience and qualifications.

The role will be based at Emerald Headingley Stadium, St Michael’s Lane, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 3BR.
