Leeds Rhinos have a new look kit for the forthcoming World Club Challenge clash with Melbourne Storm on Friday 16th February.

The game will be the first time that the Rhinos have contested for the World Club Challenge in Australia having won their previous three World titles in England.

The shirt takes inspiration from a shirt worn by Leeds back in the 1930s as an alternative to the club’s traditional blue and amber bands. The Rhinos also wore an amber kit when they defeated Melbourne back in 2008 at Elland Road as well as in 2010 against the same opponent.

The amber shirt features three stars above the club badge to mark the three previous World titles and the dates of each are included on the inside the collar. The game details are printed on the shirt as well, as they are for the players shirts for all major games, and the shirt includes the new World Club Challenge logo on the chest.

The front of the shirt features the Leeds Building Society logo, which is also on the shorts, along with the logos of associate partners Global and Berrys whilst official kit suppliers ISC have their logo on the upper shoulder on this shirt. The sleeves have the branding of Leeds Beckett University along with the gold Champions Betfred Super League logo and the playing shirts will also have the logo of associated partner Kong Media on the sleeve. Three more partners are on the back of the shirt with Quest joined by LSS Waste Management and FPS. The team will play in blue shorts and amber with blue bands socks, both feature the logo of SMUK.

There a limited number of replica shirts are available to pre-order now in the online at store.leedsrugby.com. The shirts will be dispatched by ISC direct to fans to arrive by Saturday 10th February.

The shirt is available in adult sizes XS to 7XL and ladies sizes 8-18 at £46.99. Junior shirts are available in sizes age 6 to 16 priced £36.99. There will be no toddler version of this shirt and replica shorts and socks will not be available.
