Despite the freezing temperatures this week, the work at Emerald Headingley Stadium continues at pace on both the South Stand and the Main Stand.

With each day the South Stand begins to take shape with developments on the lower and upper tiers seeing the shape of the new stand emerge with crash barriers now installed in the first section of terracing.

Installation continues on the construction of the steel frame and pre cast concrete units. The pitchside wall is being installed as is the new drainage works. Next week work will begin on sealant works to terracing and positioning step blocks to standing terrace.

On the Main Stand site, the Yorkshire Water sewer replacement is complete. The bulk excavation and stoning up of the working platform will be completed next week whilst foundation works have commenced.

You can follow the work during the off season with our exclusive streaming cameras live from Emerald Headingley.
