Galloway pleased with injury progress

Australian international Keith Galloway says he is making good progress from the Achilles injury that ended his debut season in the penultimate game of the year.

The giant prop has returned from a holiday at home in Australia with his young family and is continuing his rehabilitation from the injury he suffered in the final minutes of the last away game of the year at Huddersfield. That meant Galloway was unable to play for Scotland in their impressive Ladbrokes Four Nations showing but he has not given up hope of finally playing for the Bravehearts.

Galloway told us, "It is great to be back. I have been doing some training back home but I am fully back into pre-season now. I am doing a lot of work in the gym at the moment, strengthening everything around my leg to make sure that I am ready to go once the Achilles is recovered. I will miss the start of the season obviously but I am hoping I don't miss too much of the year."
