Goals: Adam Brook (5)
Goals: Jordan Lilley (5)
Bradford did hit back after that when prop Joe Buggle ran straight into the backside of his team mate Adam Kirk and barged over the line.
The Rhinos were not put off their stride however and came right back at Bradford. Having forced a drop out, Elliot Minchella showed great skill to get around the defence and score.
Leeds then took control of the game with a fourth first half try when Golding took Lilley's reverse pass to score between the posts. A fine first half showing was capped when Minchella touched down a grubber kick, just ahead of Josh Walters to make the score at the interval 28-6.
The second half saw a reversal of fortunes with Bradford gaining the momentum and battling hard to cut the gap. Todd Binns scored twice whilst there was one each for Emmerson Whittel and James Harrison, with Adam Brook landing five goals from five attempts. That gave the home side a 30-28 lead going into the closing stages.
However, the Rhinos were not done and showed great spirit to come back once again. Rob Mulhern made a great break from his own half before finding Josh Walters in support, and he raced away from the cover to score and seal the win.
